Slugger Celebration

B and I had promised that we would entertain a lot if we moved into our current apartment and we have done a pretty good job of fulfilling that goal. Our latest shindig was planned to coincide with the end of the regular season for our softball teams (we play on opposing squads). However, Mother Nature had a different plan (or maybe St. Agricola heard me praying for a week of - no, I wasn't specifically invoking this saint, but hey, you never know...) and the skies opened for most of the day.

We were not going to be deterred from our plan of partying however, so we managed to gather a few of our softball friends for a nice mid-week gathering. Wish us both luck as we finish out the regular season next week!
