There are some days that you do whatever your girls want when you have three little girls. Okay, so that happens essentially every day. And then there are days when you do whatever your wife wants you to do - these fill the rest of my days...and today was one of those days where we all were at the whim of the chief! But as you can see the meticulous coordination led to a super cute family picture!

I know after you take a look at it you might be thinking "Are they growing out of the pumpkin patch"? But no, we were just strategically placed in this order, stance, and precise geographic location well enough to satisfy mother dearest. That is until she decides that we need to go back in a week or two to retake the photos. While we were there the girls were able to enjoy one of their favorite autumn rituals: riding in the wagon train, and this year even LZ made an appearance in the train (yes - if you were counting, we have a 3rd, she finally made a blogpost!!!)

We also had a special visitor on our annual trip to Osborn Farms (shout out to a great Northeast Colorado farm), that everyone has been excited to have around this weekend - Gramma Dee.

I know what you're thinking - if Gramma Dee's around those girls were having a blast! Yes, they were, although we narrowly escaped crushing LZ with one of the giant pumpkins that somehow got loaded into our vehicle - it was a Nichols record today with over 150 pounds!

We also snapped a few keeper pictures for the chief to take to her new job - yes she needs to fill up that cubicle with pictures, like this one of the most hilarious farmer you will ever see. Rosie is not just a hilarious farmer, but a ball of immense joy and fun every single day! After the pumpkin patch I said to this girl, "Rosie, you are such an awesome kid!" And she snuck in close to me and whispered into my ear, "Daddy, you are an awesome grown-up!" She has spunk!!

Our other child, AG, happens to be a teenager already...or so it seems. Look at this picture, if this doesn't say 1970s senior picture, I don't know what does!
