It's no secret that we've been working to upgrade our kitchen ever since we moved in. The room isn't completely finished (we still need to replace the carpeting!) but it is SO much better than it used to be. It started with replacing the refrigerator, faucet, and then stove - all within in the first six months we were here. After that it was obvious what the next step needed to be...removal of the old wallpaper.

I love the kitchen and I think the addition of the cooks illustrated covers is a great idea. Did you end up getting hardwood floors or linoleum?
