A few months ago, Chief thought it would be good to set a fitness goal for the spring and she chose a 5K race as the target. She started training and then thought, what is more fun than running a race? Well, the answer is: running a race with friends! It wasn't too hard to get our friends to agree to participate (sans the Elton's - they are about to have a baby!!!) and today was the big race day.
Guess who finished in 1st Place overall? SNICKS!!!! That's right, studly Snicks used his old-man savvy to easily dust the competition. Chief was excited to have run the whole race without walking - and was very pleased to have done it with her friend at her side. It made the whole race a lot nicer to have someone to huff-and-puff with!
