We like to think that we are thankful for what we do (and don't) have throughout the year, but today is a special day to contemplate this topic. We try to always give thanks to God and hope we are living our lives in a way that shows this. On hard days, it can be easy to dwell on dreams that are not yet fulfilled, but we are quickly reminded of what we have been able to do together.

In these rough economic times, we are thankful for our jobs. They continue to challenge us and provide us both with opportunities to travel.
We are thankful for each other and for the time we are able to spend at home. We are also thankful for our families who have helped to shape us into the people we are today.

This past year played host to one of our greatest marriage goals being attained. We have now been on four of the seven continents together! .jpg)

We were able to visit with many friends and family in the past year - both far and near.

In the past year we have also solidified and created new friendships here in Obe.rlin. We have felt like we were a part of the community almost from the get-go, but having a group of friends to share life with has really made this small town "home" for us.

Snicks is thankful for a solid start to the basketball season. He senses that this is by far the best team he has helped to coach at Oberl.in.

We are thankful for our sweet digs. After more than a year of living here, it is still fun to walk off the elevator into our space.
